Who is Claes Cronqvist?

Claes Cronqvist is a former Swedish footballer.

Claes Cronqvist played for Djurgårdens IF and became Swedish champion in 1966. In 1971 he transferred to Landskrona BoIS. He shares the record of most red cards in Allsvenskan with Mats Rubarth.

He was capped 16 times for the Swedish national football team and was a member of the squad in the 1970 FIFA World Cup and in the 1974 FIFA World Cup. He now works as a trainer in the lower divisions.
