Who is Curtis Scaparrotti?

Curtis Michael "Mike" Scaparrotti is a Lieutenant General in the United States Army, and is the current Director of the Joint Staff. Scaporrotti previously served as the commander of I Corps and Joint Base Lewis-McChord. From July 11, 2011 to June 12,2013, he served as Commander, International Security Assistance Force Joint Command and Deputy Commander, U.S. Forces – Afghanistan. He served as the commander of the 82nd Airborne Division from October 1, 2008 until August 2010.
