Who is Dag Mikkelsen?
Dag Martin Mikkelsen is a Norwegian poker player, known as "dmmikkel". At the 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event Mikkelsen at one time was the chip leader. Eventually he came in 42nd place and won the largest sum a Norwegian has ever won in WSOP. He is also known for getting a Royal Flush on camera during WSOP, which is a chance of 1 to 124 000.
Mikkelsen started with poker as a 17-year-old attending St. Olav High School. He continued with the poker through his time as a truck driver in the Army.
Mikkelsen finished fourth in the 2009 European Poker Tour Grand Final in Monte Carlo. He started the final day as the chip-leader and continued to be until the final 4, where he got eliminated.
