Who is Daljit Singh Shergill?
Daljit Singh Shergill is the President of Guru Nanak Gurdwara Smethwick and was one of the main organisers in the UK for Sikh events. He is also the longest serving President of the 1st Gurdwara in the UK. He became president of the Smethwick Gurdwara in 1984, where he still is Chairman of the council of Sandwell Sikh Gurdwara’s in UK, Chairman of the national Sikh Gurdwaras, Chairman of the SYCC and President of the Sikh Welfare association in the Sikh Records Database
