Who is Damián Díaz?

Damián Rodrigo Díaz Montero is an Argentine footballer that currently plays for UAE Arabian Gulf League club Al-Wahda S.C.C. FC as a playmaker well known for his technique, passing and ability to link up with his teammates. He started his career at Rosario Central of his natal city, then joining to Boca Juniors, in where in his first season won the title of the Torneo de Apertura under the orders of Carlos Ischia as coach. The next season, after of his lack of opportunities at La Boca's team, he moved to the Chilean Primera División powerhouse club Universidad Católica, devoting as player with Marco Antonio Figueroa, being named the best playmaker of the tournament and was runner–up of the Torneo de Clausura, returning then to his country for play at Colón de Santa Fe. In June 2011, he joined to Ecuadorian side Barcelona. In July 2013, he joined United Arab Emirates AlWahda FC.
