Damien Eastwood provides legal support for product development and
product strategy for all Sun lines of business, including Software,
Systems, Storage, Services and Microelectronics.He has been at
Sun for more than 13 years supporting various complex intellectual
property issues associated with strategic and MA transactions. He
has extensive open source experience, and has been instrumental in
Sun's open source licensing strategies.For five years prior to
joining Sun, Damien was European Corporate Counsel for Novell, and was
previously employed as Associate General Counsel for Amstrad, PLC a UK
Consumer Electronics company with products ranging from Personal
Computers, TV's and VCR's to Satellite Receiving and Decoding equipment.
