Who is Damon Elliott?

Damon Elliott, also known as Buck 22, is the son of actor/jazz drummer Bill Elliott and pop legend Dionne Warwick is a Multi-Diamond, Grammy Award-Winning producer. “Damon was raised by music”, says his mother, whom Damon spent almost his entire childhood in the studio with, surrounded by the timeless composition of stars she worked with, including Burt Bacharach, Hal David, Stevie Wonder, and Frank Sinatra. It is no wonder why Damon has acquired such incredible musical talents and the personality to accompany them. Damon has worked in several genres of music including Pop, Hip Hop, Rock, R&B, Gospel and Country as a writer, composer, producer and recording artist. He became the President and Co-Founder of Confidential Records and discovered, mentored and signed 7x Platinum selling R&B artist Keyshia Cole. He also discovered and signed Hip Hop’s Internet sensation Hopsin. Damon signed Hopsin to a deal with Ruthless Records, and later mentored Hopsin’s solo debut on Hopsin’s Funk Volume Label which has earned Hopsin major success under Elliott’s supervision.

Damon’s first production project was with 11x Platinum selling artists Bone Thugs-n-Harmony in 1996. Since then, he has also worked with countless, Multi-Platinum selling artists including Destiny's Child, Beyonce, P!nk, Gwen Stefani, Jessica Simpson, Christina Aguilera, Macy Gray, Britney Spears, Mya, Deana Carter, and many more. Damon's discography includes the scoring of three major films and the contribution of music to over thirty films. He has sold over 150 Million Records, earned seven Grammy Award Nominations, and won one Grammy Award for his rendition of “Lady Marmalade” featured in the 2001 Academy Award Winning Film Moulin Rouge!
