Who is Dan Alexander?
Robert Daniel Alexander was a tackle and guard who played thirteen seasons in the National Football League for the New York Jets. Dan was draft from Louisiana State University in the 8th round of the 1977 NFL draft.
From this rather humble draft position, Dan Alexander managed to earn a spot on the AFC Pro Bowl team in both 1976 and 1977. He was popular with teammates, and displayed a humorous side both on and off the field.
Dan Alexander was in 2009 the offensive line coach at the University of Southern Mississippi.
