David Martin McIntosh is a lawyer who served as a Republican representative from Indiana from January 3, 1995, to January 3, 2001. McIntosh was the Republican candidate for Governor of Indiana in 2000, losing to incumbent Democrat Frank O'Bannon. He was an unsuccessful candidate in Indiana's 5th Congressional district, to replace Rep. Dan Burton.
