Who is Dominique Maltais?

Dominique Maltais is a Canadian snowboarder with her specialty in snowboard cross. Born in Petite-Rivière-Saint-François, Quebec. She is a firefighter in her professional career. Maltais is an Olympic bronze medalist in snowboard cross, as well as the reigning X Games champion. She also holds a bronze medal from the FIS Snowboarding World Championships in the same event during 2011, this occurred in the same year that she won the Crystal Globe as the overall FIS World Cup champion in snowboard cross.
