Don Riordan

Who is Don Riordan?

Don Riordan, with more than 25 years of information technology sales

experience, joined Sun Microsystems Federal Inc., in October of 2006,

as the Director of the Intelligence and Homeland Security Region.

Prior to Sun, Riordan was Vice President of federal sales at several

software companies, including Mercury Interactive, where he started

their federal organization. Riordan also spent 13 years at SGI in

various leadership roles, including General Manager for the SGI/Cray

DoD/Intell Region. In addition, Riordan held numerous sales roles at

Burroughs, Unisys and Tektronix.

After 22 years in the U.S. Navy, including four years of active duty

and 18 years in the reserves, Riordan is a retired USNR who earned a

Bachelors of Science degree in Marketing from the University of

Maryland.

Riordan resides in Clarksville, Md., and has two daughters and a son who live in the DC area.
