E. Harikumar is a Malayalam novelist and short story writer.

He was born on July 13, 1943 to the poet and playwright Edasseri Govindan Nair and Janaki Amma. Harikumar was the recipient of Kerala Sahitya Academy Award for the anthology titled The Dinosaur's Baby in 1988, the Padmarajan Award for the Story 'To Catch A Grasshopper' in 1997,the Nalappadan Award for the anthology The Peacock Feather Treasured' and Kathapeetham Award for the anthology of stories, 'Anitha's House'. 40 short stories and various study and review of his books in website.
