Who was Ebbe Hertzberg?
Ebbe Carsten Hornemann Hertzberg was a Norwegian historian, economist and politician.
He graduated as cand.jur. in 1870, and studied law history in Uppsala from 1870 and in Munich from 1872 to 1873. He was appointed professor of statistics and economy at the Christiania University in 1877. He was a short-time government minister in April 1884., a member of the Council of State Division in Stockholm. Hertzberg was a legal historian, and published several works in that field.
He was decorated with the Commander Cross of the Royal Norwegian Order of St. Olav in 1907.
