Who is Eben Ibim Princewill?

Navy Captain Eben Ibim Princewill was Military Governor of Cross River State, Nigeria between 1986 and December 1989 during the military regime of General Ibrahim Babangida. His regime was noted for its corruption. For example, four palm oil estates owned by the state were sold for much less than they were worth, and many construction contracts were paid without any work being done, often to non-existent companies. He was allowed to retire from the navy with full benefits at the end of his term in office.
