Who is Ed Braginsky?
Edward Braginsky joined TVM Capital in 2005 as a General Partner in the firm’s Boston office, where he focuses on business software and services investments. Ed is an experienced technology executive with a track record in building transatlantic software companies, with more than 20 years of technical and operational experience. Prior to joining TVM Capital, he consulted to several prominent venture capital firms and enterprise software startups in the Boston area, including Systinet (acquired by Mercury), IMLogic (acquired by Symantec), Radianz (acquired by BT), and Authentica (acquired by EMC). Before joining the venture industry, Ed was a member of the founding executive team of BEA Systems where he held several leadership positions including Chief Technology Officer and a Vice President, Corporate Business Development. While at BEA, Ed played a key role in orchestrating numerous acquisitions and led BEA’s investments in several successful software startups, including PentaSafe (acquired by NetIQ), YOUcentric (acquired by J.D. Edwards), TimesTen (acquired by Oracle), Wily (acquired by CA), and System Access (listed on SGX SESDAQ). Prior to BEA, Ed held operating positions at Fidelity Investments, DLJ Securities, Digital Equipment Corporation and MIT. Ed holds a BS and MS in Computer Science from Boston University.
