Who is Ed Giecek?
Ed Giecek is an American watercolorist and collage artist of the Pacific Northwest. His style is fine art landscape. His work is displayed in the Frye Art Museum in Seattle, Washington. He is a signature member and the webmaster for the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society. Giecek is also a signature member of other art societies.
In addition to watercolor and collage, Giecek is a multimedium artist, with art mediums including web design, mail art, linocut, photography, cake decorating, and music. He is a published photographer in the Washington Trails Association. He is a seminal figure in the mail art movement, and trades with other mail artists such as John M. Bennett and Ruud Janssen.
Giecek is married to Pamela Giecek. He has a son named Rudy, of whom he has a granddaughter named Raichel. His daughter is famed personality Rodleen Getsic. He is a fan of Bob Dylan.
