Who is Ed Mangano?
Edward P. "Ed" Mangano is the County Executive and was a county legislator in Nassau County, New York. He was elected in 1995 and served seven terms. He defeated incumbent Thomas R. Suozzi for Nassau County Executive in an election that was held on November 3, 2009. In November 2013, he was re-elected as County Executive, again defeating Suozzi, by 59% to 41% to be elected to a second, consecutive, term.
