Who was Edward Charles Pickering?
Edward Charles Pickering was an American astronomer and physicist as well as the older brother of William Henry Pickering.
Along with Carl Vogel, Pickering discovered the first spectroscopic binary stars. He wrote Elements of Physical Manipulations.
