Who is Elliott Macklovitch?
Elliot Macklovitch is a Canadian linguist specializing in machine translation.
From 1999 to 2009, Macklovitch was the Coordinator of the RALI Laboratory at the Université de Montréal. He served as President of the Association for Machine Translation in the Americas from 2000 to 2004. He now works at the Translation Bureau of the Canadian government, in the Enterprise Information Technology Management group.
Macklovitch is also the father of wunderkind DJ A-Trak and Dave 1 of Chromeo.
