Who was Fakhitah bint Abi Talib?

Fakhitah bint Abi Talib was daughter of Abu Talib ibn ‘Abd al-Muttalib and cousin of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. She died in 661. Muhammad ascended to Heaven from her house in 621, according to Islamic belief. According to the tradition that favours the marriage between cousins, she was asked by Muhammad as his wife but the marriage was not concluded. Fakhitah was then married with Hubairah ibn Abu Wahab.

She was also called Umm Hani, presumably since she had a son named Hani.
