Who was Farmer Weaver?
William B. "Farmer" Weaver, is a former professional baseball player who played outfielder in the Major Leagues from 1888 to 1894. He would play for the Louisville Colonels and Pittsburgh Pirates.
On August 12, 1890, Weaver would hit for the cycle while also getting six hits in one game, a feat that would not be accomplished in the modern era until Ian Kinsler would do it in April 2009.
