Who was Finn Carling?
Finn Carling was a Norwegian novelist, playwright, poet and essayist. He was born in Oslo. He made his literary debut in 1949 with Broen.
Finn Carling suffered from innate cerebral palsy, and described his childhood and adolescence with this handicap in the autobiographical novel Kilden og muren.
He received the Arts Council Norway Honorary Award in 1999.
