Who was Frank Wisbar?

Frank Wisbar was a German film director and screenwriter. He directed 30 films between 1932 and 1967 in Germany and the United States as well as an adaption of Edgar Allan Poe The Tell-Tale Heart for British Broadcasting Corporation. He was a member of the jury at the 10th Berlin International Film Festival.
