Frederic Fenimore Forrest, Jr. is a retired American actor. He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Huston Dyer in the 1979 musical drama The Rose and portrayed "Chef" in the epic war classic Apocalypse Now released the same year.
