Who was Frederick J. Jackson?

Frederick J. Jackson was an American playwright screenwriter. He wrote for over 50 films between 1912 and 1946. A number of his plays were turned into films, including The Bishop Misbehaves. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and died in Hollywood, California.
