Who was Frits von der Lippe?
Frits von der Lippe was a Norwegian journalist and theatre director. He was the first theatre director for Riksteatret, and had this position for twenty years, from 1949 to 1968. He was awarded the Arts Council Norway Honorary Award in 1968 for his contributions to Norwegian culture. He was chairman of the board of the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre from 1953 to 1971.
