Who was G. A. Williamson?
Geoffrey Arthur Williamson was an English classicist.
He was a graduate of Oxford University and was Senior Classics Master at Norwich School from 1922-1960.
He translated several important histories into the English language. His translation of Eusebius has been published by Penguin Classics. He also translated Josephus: The Jewish War and Procopius: The Secret History.
