Who is Gail Goodman?

Gail Goodman, Chief Executive Officer of Constant

Contact®, is a seasoned software executive with senior management,

marketing, product management, business development and management

consulting experience at Constant Contact, Open Market, Progress

Software, Dun Bradstreet Software and Bain Co.

Since Gail took leadership of Constant Contact in April 1999, the

company has grown more than five-fold (3019%) earning its ranking as

the ninth fastest growing technology company in New England for 2003 by

Deloitte Touche. With more than 100,000 customers, and recently

rated the most popular email marketing tool in a Web Marketing Today®

survey, Constant Contact, is now the leading permission Do-It-Yourself

Email Marketing® service for small and medium businesses (SMBs) and

associations.

At Constant Contact, Gail develops and tracks best practices in

email marketing, focused specifically on permission-based email and

stopping spam. She works closely with the Email Sender and Provider

Coalition charting the direction for an industry-wide spam solution,

known as Project Lumos. She is a frequent speaker at industry events.

Gail holds a BA from The University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from

the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth. She is a member of the Board of

Trustees of the Massachusetts Software Council and a Steering Committee

member of the Email Sender and Provider Coalition.
