Who is George Morrone?
George Morrone is an American chef, restaurateur, and cookbook author. Morrone attended the Culinary Institute of America at the urging of his mentor, John Kutrovacz. He was the founding chef at the famous Aqua Restaurant in San Francisco, where he was mentor to chef and restaurateur Michael Mina. He has also been chef at San Francisco restaurants, Fifth Floor, Redwood Park. and Boca Steak & Seafood in Marin County. Morrone is currently the executive chef at Gusto in San Carlos, California. He has a daughter named Sydney.
