Who is Ha Hyoung-Zoo?

Ha Hyoung-Zoo also known by Ha Hyung-Joo, is a retired judoka from South Korea. In 1981, he became the first open division champion to represent South Korea at the Asian Judo Championships in Jakarta. Ha represented his native country at the Judo at the 1984 Summer Olympics, and claimed the gold medal in the men's half heavyweight division by defeating Brazil's Douglas Vieira in the final. He also competed at the 1988 Summer Olympics, but did not win a medal.
