Who was Habibullah Khan Khattak?
Lieutenant General Habibullah Khan Khattak also known as Muhammad Habibullah Khan was born in Wana, Waziristan, British India, now part of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas of Pakistan.
He was the son of Khan Bahadur Kuli Khan Khattak,and a younger brother of former Governor NWFP Aslam Khattak,former Federal Minister Yusuf Khattak and Kulsum Saifullah.
His son Ali Kuli Khan Khattak also rose to the rank of Lt Gen and retired as the Chief of General Staff in 1998. His son like him belonged to the famed Baloch Regiment.
