Hamza Yilmaz joined Volterra asSenior
Vice President of Product Development, Engineering, and Manufacturing
Operations in March 2007. Prior to joining Volterra, Dr. Yilmaz was
Senior Vice President of Product and Technology Development at
Fairchild Semiconductor from July 2004 to February 2007. From September
2001 to July 2004, Dr. Yilmaz served in various capacities as a
consultant; and also as Vice President of Engineering and Corporate
Quality for GEM Services, a semiconductor packaging company based in
China. Dr. Yilmaz also held various positions at Siliconix, Inc., a
semiconductor company, during his tenure from March 1988 to September
2001, including Executive Vice President of the PowerMOS Business Unit.
Dr. Yilmaz holds a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan and a M.S.E.E.
from the University of Texas at Austin.
