Who is Hank Small?
Henry "Hank" Small is the director of athletics for Charleston Southern University, an NCAA Division I school in Charleston, South Carolina. He assumed his current post in the summer of 2001.
Small was the 25th head football coach for Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania from 1986 until 1993. His overall coaching record at Lehigh was 47 wins, 40 losses, and 1 ties. As of completion of the 2007 season, this ranks him sixth at Lehigh in terms of total wins and 11th at Lehigh in terms of winning percentage.
Small spent four years as the offensive coordinator at Wake Forest, and has also coached at Rutgers, Florida State, Princeton, and Brown. He also spent a year in the player personnel office of the New England Patriots.
