Who was Herschel Baltimore?

Herschel David "Herk" Baltimore was an American basketball player, and WWII veteran.

During WWII, he served as tank commander, and received the Bronze Star.

He played collegiately for the Pennsylvania State University.

He played for the St. Louis Bombers in the BAA for 58 games.
