Who is Hisashi Kobayashi?

Hisashi Kobayashi is the Sherman Fairchild University Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Emeritus at Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey. His fields of expertise include applied probability; queueing theory; system modeling and performance analysis; digital communication and networks; and network architecture. Currently he is an Executive Advisor for the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology, Japan on their new generation network architecture project. He serves on the Board of Directors of Friends of Todai, Inc., New York, and Armstrong Memorial Research Foundation, Inc. . He also serves on the Advisory Board of Toyota Technological Institute, Japan and that of German Lab of Germany.
