Who is Howard Klausner?

Howie Klausner, known also as Howard A. Klausner, is an American filmmaker. He has credits as a Hollywood screenwriter and producer

He is known for writing Space Cowboys a 2000 Warner Brothers film starring Clint Eastwood, Tommy Lee Jones, and Donald Sutherland.

Klausner attended film school at USC and has been involved in a variety of projects over the years.

In 2011, he produced and wrote The Grace Card a film starring Academy-Award nominee Louis Gossett, Jr.. and Michael Joiner.

Klausner wrote the screenplay for The Last Ride released in 2011. The film is based on the final days of music legend Hank Williams, Jr.. In the Nov/Dec issue of Script Magazine, writer Randy Rudder stated "Howie Klausner, along with co-writer Dub Cornett, remained true to history while scripting the last days of music legend Hank Williams while retaining just enough creative license to leave their fingerprints on this touching story of an icon gone too soon."

In 2011, Klausner completed the screenplay for a 3 million dollar independent film called "The Identical," one of several Elvis Presley-based movies in development or production.
