Who is Ian Mannus?

Ian Danny Mannus is a former professional Canadian-Northern-Irish soccer goalkeeper. He last played for East Belfast F.C as a forward. Mannus began with Castlereagh Colts F.C.. He progressed to win his first cap with Northern Ireland School Boys in a match against England which they won. Mannus moved up the ranks at Glentoran F.C. over a six-year period. He mostly played for the reserve team but was called up to the firsts on more than a few occasions. One of these involved a 'Big Two' match against Linfield, where his brother Alan Mannus was standing in the opposite net, it was a draw. Ian needed some regular first team action so went on loan to Ards F.C. in 06/07. He then moved to Ballyclare Comrades F.C. in '07/'08. Ian decided he wanted to hang up his goalkeeping gloves in 2009 and is currently playing up front for East Belfast F.C. alongside his other brother Paul Mannus.
