Who is Ilisa Barbash?

"ILSA BARBASH is Associate Curator of Visual Anthropology at the Peabody Museum, Harvard University. Her film works (co-directed with Lucien Taylor) include Made in U.S.A. (1990) and In and Out of Africa (1992). The latter has been the subject of symposia at the Smithsonian Institution and the British Museum, and received numerous awards. Her latest film is about the culture of sheep ranching in the American West. She is also the co-author of "Cross-Cultural Filmmaking" (1997)."
