Who is Ilwhan Park?

A mechanical engineer with more than a decade of experience in the

medical device and high technology industries, Dr. Park leads all

RD and manufacturing activity for OtisMed Corp.

Dr. Park brings to OtisMed a long track record of groundbreaking

medical device design advancements. He was previously the principal

engineer at Integrated Surgical Systems (ISS), where he led the

development of ROBODOC, the first robotic assisted knee surgery system.

He holds more than 20 U.S. patents and has demonstrated expertise in

CAD/CAM, rapid manufacturing, high-precision instrumentation and

robotic systems.

Dr. Park has also held senior engineering and management positions at

companies including Tissue Banks International, Mobigence, Integrated

Construct and Celestial Software.
