Who is Iraj Weeraratne?

Iraj Weeraratne is a Sinhalese R&B and hip hop artist and music producer who raised the international profile of Sinhalese RnB/pop. After the big break from his music side he return back in 2013 and released the song Daasa Themila featuring Infaas reached number 1 on Hiru Top 100 chart becoming his first most successful hit in Sri Lanka.At the same year he released Just One Click song and it reached number 23,Me Maa reached number 58 and Your Love reached number 91 on Hiru Top 100 Chart.Middle of the 2013 he released another song named Heeneke Thanikarala become a successful hit in SL by making number 6 on Hiru Hot 100 chart on its first week. He won a award for Best video with a massage for this song on MTV VMA Sri Lanka.After that Iraj released Manamali on July 2013 with an incredible music video.It reached number 1 on Hot 100 Chart and spend 18 weeks at the top.It become his first international hit and most viewed song in his music field.He won the Best Video, Best Male Artist, Best Song and the Song of the Summer at Derana Music Awards for Manamali.
