Who is Irwin Sparkes?
Irwin Sparkes (born 5 March 1981; Reading, England) is the lead vocalist in the pop rock band The Hoosiers and also plays lead guitar in the band. The band have so far released 2 albums and 5 singles, which have gained them moderate success in the music industry. The band released their first single, "Worried About Ray", on June 25, 2007 and reached number 5 on the UK Singles Chart. The band then went onto release their second single, "Goodbye Mr A", on October 8, 2007 and gained more success than their previous single reaching number 4 in the UK. After the release off their first two singles the band went on to release The Trick To Life, their first studio album, which gained major success reaching 1 on the UK Albums Chart. However, the bands third official single, "Worst Case Scenario", did not receive any sort of major success only reaching number 76 in the UK. The bands fourth single from their debut album, "Cops and Robbers", was able to gain more success than the previous single and reached 14 in the UK. After a two year break from releasing music, The Hoosiers released "Choices" on 1 August 2010. The single received success in the UK Singles Chart and reached number 11.
