Izumi Todo, who is credited with creating series like Ojamajo Doremi and Futari wa Pretty Cure, is a collective pseudonym for the staff at Toei Animation. Pseudonyms used in a similar manner include Hajime Yatate from Sunrise and Saburo Yatsude for Toei Company's anime and tokusatsu television productions.
The name comes from "Tōei Dōga, Ōizumi Studio".
