Who is J Boogie?

Justin "J-Boogie" Boland is an American DJ/producer from San Francisco, California. He was born in September 1973. He is signed to the Om Records label, and has 2 full length albums as well as several mix CDs. He has also been featured on several compilations such as Mushroom Jazz and the OM Lounge series. His style includes a mixture of hip-hop, funk, nujazz, afrobeat, latin, dancehall, soul, and electronic. He is the co-creator of the radio show "Beatsauce," along with DJs Raw B, and Wisdom on KUSF, which was awarded "Best hip-hop show" by citysearch.com, the S.F. Bay Guardian, and the S.F. Weekly. He is one of the residents at Dub Mission, a weekly reggae/roots party in San Francisco ran by DJ Sep.
