J. Lomax Jordan, Jr., known as Max Jordan, is a Lafayette attorney who was a Republican member of the Louisiana State Senate from 1992 to 2000. He was unseated for the District 23 seat in the 1999 nonpartisan blanket primary by then State Representative Michael J. Michot, also a Republican.
