Who is James Herndon?

James Neil Herndon is a media psychologist. He received his Ph.D. in Educational Technology from Arizona State University. His early experimental research focused on new methods of personalizing training materials. More recent work explores the use of media psychology research in digital public relations. His qualitative research tool, Affective Encryption Analysis, has received press notice as a trend analysis methodology. He writes for LewRockwell.com, primarily on the topics of Ron Paul, USA presidential politics and the Federal Reserve System. He is coauthor of the book, Ron Paul: A Life of Ideas, where he explores Paul in the modern media landscape. He has also authored two books on depression, which he views as primarily a media-driven phenomenon. His company is Media Psychology Affiliates.
