Who is Jim Simpson?
James A. "Jim" Simpson is a theater and film director, known for a commitment to avant-garde work. He is the founder of The Flea Theater in New York City. He is married to the actress Sigourney Weaver and the couple has one daughter, Charlotte.
Simpson appeared in two episodes of the successful CBS Television series Hawaii Five-0. Of particular note is his characterization of Foxer, a member of a militant group terrorizing the Big Island of Hawaii, in the episode "The Young Assassins" from Season 7.
He is of Scottish descent.
In 2002, Simpson directed the film The Guys starring his wife, Sigourney Weaver.
