Who is Jimmy Rodgers?

James Donald "Jimmy" Rodgers is an American former basketball coach. He coached the Boston Celtics for two seasons, and the Minnesota Timberwolves for nearly a season and a half. While Rodgers had only modest success as an NBA head coach, he served as an assistant on staffs that won six NBA Championships. During his days an assistant with the Celtics, he helped coach Celtic legends Larry Bird, Kevin McHale, Robert Parish and Dennis Johnson. As an assistant for Chicago, he helped Bulls head coach Phil Jackson coach vastly successful championship-winning teams that featured Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman.
