Who is John F. Murray?

John F. Murray is a Palm Beach, Florida based clinical and sport performance psychologist who first introduced the concept of scoring the mental side of a sport in developing the MPI or "Mental Performance Index" for American football. The MPI is featured in a book published by World Audience in 2010, with epilogue by Pro Football Hall of Fame broadcaster Lesley Visser. He is also the author of the sports psychology book "Smart Tennis: How to Play and Win the Mental Game".
