Who is K. V. L. Narasimham?
Justice K. V. L. Narasimham was Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh High Court.
He was born on 1 April 1910. He was educated at Islamia School, Secunderabad, V.R. College High School, Nellore, Hindu High School, Vijayawada, Pachayappa’s College, Madras and Madras Law College. He was enrolled as an Advocate of Madras High Court on 1 April 1935. He joined State Higher Judicial Service in 1946. He came to Andhra State on its formation as District and Sessions Judge. He worked as Chairman, Tribunal for Disciplinary Proceedings between June 1957 to March, 1958, as Principal Judge, City Civil Court from April 1958 to April 1959. He was Registrar, High Court of Andhra Pradesh from 1 May 1959 until his elevation.
He was appointed as Additional Judge on 9 December 1959 and again appointed as Additional Judge from 9 December 1961. He was made Permanent Judge from 7 June 1962. He was appointed as Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh High Court on 15 June 1971 and retired on 1 April 1972.
He died on 9 October 1973.
