Who is Karen E. Salem?

Karen Salem is senior vice president and chief information officer of Ingram Micro Inc. She is responsible for ensuring the companys business systems create an effective platform for profitable growth. Salem joined Ingram Micro in February 2005 and brought with her nearly 20 years of experience advising corporations on technology systems and business solutions. She was most recently senior vice president and chief information officer at Winn-Dixie Stores, Inc. in Jacksonville, Fla., where she led an IT organization of approximately 500 people supporting more than 1,000 stores throughout the United States. Before joining Winn-Dixie, she was the chief information officer at Corning Cable Systems and at AFC Enterprises in Atlanta, Ga. Salem earned a bachelors degree in industrial engineering from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from the University of Cincinnati.
